Adios Cuenca!

We have enjoyed having a great apartment for a few days and Cuenca turned out to be a pretty pleasant city, especially when the sun came out for awhile. Tomorrow we move on. We're going to look for a nature reserve called Manglares Churute. Supposedly they have some cabins and you can hike through the mangroves and take canoe tours through the wetlands. I can't seem to get clear directions, so I would say it's a 50/50 chance that we may not find it. I have reserved us a condo on the beach in the small town of Playas for later this week, so we only have to wander around aimlessly for two days and then we'll have a home base again.

I have a fear of wandering aimlessly. You crack me up! I continue to have a great time researching your adventures. I even found pics of the McDonald's AND the Subway!! (Thanks for that.) The video of that narrow mountain road scared me to death! Missing you!! xoxoxo
