Our Perfect Streak Continues!

We are the masters of finding the best places to stay

We had originally planned to be in beach towns for the last several days, but decided to change our route due to the wildfires that caused so much destruction to several of the little towns. But today we headed for Mossel Bay and found a gorgeous neighborhood called Dana Bay (or Danabaai as all the road signs said). The Lilies and Leopards Bed & Breakfast has the most beautiful view of the ocean and our room has an excellent balcony and it's own little kitchen. We immediately went to a grocery store and got stuff for spaghetti. We were determined to sit on our balcony and have dinner, even though it is freezing here! Sorry Bakersfield, I know you are all melting right now!

Our fabulous host here arranged a spot for us tomorrow on a whale watching boat, even though the whales have apparently been pretty scarce so far. This is normally the start of whale season and this is THE place to be to see a bunch of different species, but I guess they are late coming in this year. I'm looking forward to it, but I think I might need to wear everything I have in my suitcase!

Oh, how you tease! It's 110 degrees here and no whales in sight. I love your smiles. It looks like you are having so much fun! I know your jealous of my heels and hairdo. Off to a dinner tonight!

Haha! Stephanie I can't imagine that you have to put on your First Lady costume in that heat! I think ponytails and no make-up should be the dress code.

Hey@ that looks like a great place to visit! You both look like you having so much fun. Most definitely, enjoy the weather there! It is miserable here with triple digits! The Houston weather doesnt look much better for me.
