More stairs, good food, and beautiful views!

Our last day in Split

Tomorrow we move to nearby Trogir and it might not be a bad thing since a major music festival starts here tomorrow and the town is filling up with very young Europeans that all seem ready to burst into party mode at the slightest hint of techno music. This ancient city seems like a weird backdrop for a modern music festival, but I guess that's what makes this city so cool. It has changed non-stop for thousands of years and still holds on to every layer of history (look at me with the philosophical observations!).

Anyway, big surprise, we walked up more stairs today! There's a viewpoint that we hadn't admired yet, so it was time to climb (after some outstanding French toast first!).

Luckily there was a cafe with some delicious juice at the top.

We spent the afternoon recovering in our cool apartment from the heat of our hike, then another great dinner. Perfect!
