"Homeschooling"

Today was all about science. We spent the day at the Leonardo da Vinci Museum of Science and Technology. Very cool! There are a bunch of models made by following the plans for machines dreamed up by da Vinci plus exhibits on the history of radio, telephones, etc. There were quite a few gadgets you could turn and push and move, which is always a big hit with Baylie.
Found a great snack in a bakery while walking. Focaccia bread with whole green olives baked into it. It was delicious! The spaghetti carbonara for lunch was also outstanding.

Oh, that's what I'm talking about! I've been craving Italian food since you got there. I made eggplant parmesan in your honor on Monday, and tonight I'm making pasta with red sauce and sausage. That bread would be perfect on my table tonight! Da Vinci was way ahead of his time - if a little eccentric.
