Thai Massage

Amazingly painful...but also wonderful!

After a brutal hike up a steep path to another spectacular cave, and a second killer hike up and over a jungle covered hill, we finally got some beach time yesterday. Emerald colored water, sand like sugar, and not a single other visitor to be seen. We got some cheap tasty food (especially good was the pineapple fried rice, served in a pineapple half), then Shawn and Baylie were up for tackling the mountain up to cave number three. My legs were done, so I had no plans to leave the beach for quite a while. After the second approach I couldn't refuse the girl offering a massage on the beach. The pounding and stretching were excrutiating and when she dug her fingers into the nerves of my sore legs I thought I would scream. But in the end I have to say I was never more relaxed!

Hey Shawn, happy birthday! My nephew Scotty is shooting a film in Vietnam on 12/9. Are you going to be in the area? He is living in Singapore right now.
